1. Electronic approvals
RentX records electronic acceptance of quotations, contracts, updates and handover/return reports. An authorized account user is expected to have authority to act for the party associated with the account.
2. Records
The Platform retains transaction references, timestamps, status, user identity, event logs and associated documents to support an auditable operational sequence.
3. Signature
The Platform may use drawn signatures, acceptance buttons or other verification methods depending on the process. Evidentiary and legal effect remains subject to transaction type and applicable law.
4. Copies
Parties can preview/print available contract, quotation and operational invoice records. Signed records must not be altered in a way that conceals the prior record; material amendments should create a new record/version where required.
